Project details presented by Hal Hofheins from ImmunoTek.  Presented details on the demo of the drive thru canopy, fencing and enclosure materials, painting of the exterior, new roof, etc. 

 

Committee Questions, Comments, Concerns

  • Are we reviewing the sign being shown in the presentation to today? Per HH:the sign will come back under a separate permit application.
  • Main concern is the painting of the brick.  It seems that tuckpointing and cleaning will be less expensive than painting.
  • Consider using a semi-transparent or solid stain instead of painting over the brick.  The stain can get to the same color scheme used in their national branding.

 

 

 

Cynthia Brookins from Greater Collinwood Dev is available to provide context on the community meeting and community support for the business.  She also provided details on hours of operation, security, and business operations.

Motion to approve with the masonry being stained as opposed to the proposed paint. (Passed 4-2).  Committee has requested a small on-site visual to see how the stain selection(s) performs on the original brick.
